RESEARCH COMMITTEE: Invitation to COBIT RESEARCH GROUP in English |

We, COBIT RESEARCH GROUP was established in April2011 and has discussed variety of topics and concerns about COBIT4.1 (in Japanese), and published the results of them in the Research and Study Committee’s website
http://www.isaca.gr.jp/research/research_report01.html -partly in English Now, at the beginning of new business year of ISACA Tokyo Chapter 2011-2012, we hereby decided to add “COBIT RESEARCH GROUP in English” and invite you to join it. Policy of the theme/purpose and activities: 1. Theme/Purpose Sharing experiences and knowledge about implementation of COBIT, make recommendation to ISACA Head Quarter as needed (including additional commentary on COBIT5 Exposure Draft) 2. Activities (meeting) Discussing participants’ concerns/opinions on the framework and the Processes of COBIT4.1 and COBIT5 Exposure Draft based on one or two persons’ presentation on them. 3. Deliverables ・Minutes of discussions ・Opinions/Recommendation Papers to ISACA Head Quarter to be published at Research and Study Committee’s Web site and /or Tokyo chapter’s monthly meeting (in Japanese) and English Seminar 4. Meeting frequency and duration About once a three month, 2hours (19:00-21:00)-pls. see below “N.B.” (to be increased as participants’ need and hope) Schedule (present plan-for example)
5. Meeting place Nippon-Kyoiku Kaikan (venue of English seminar),etc N. B. We are also holding COBIT RESEARCH GROUP (in Japanese) in this business year as we did in 2010-2011. We are feeding the results of the discussions in the group to the participants of English group. But you can be welcome to join both groups.
